Sophocles Vergos is a fine art photographer with extensive work in black and white, night shots and street photography. Being inspired by the literature of great authors like Ernest Hemingway, Thomas Mann and Albert Camus, he has approached photographically cities such as Paris, Venice and Milan. Paris has been a central subject of his work for almost a decade and was the theme of his latest exhibition under the title “Flâneur-Paris”. His large, silver-plated prints showed a different Paris and captured special moments of the life of the Left Bank.

The streets, the cafes and the market places are the beloved surroundings of the artist. He likes to unveil the small moments of every-day life of the people, capturing their instant emotions.
